Barry Broad is the principal in the Law Offices of Barry Broad, a law firm he established in 1994. His firm specializes in government relations and administrative law.  From 1985 through 1994, he was legislative counsel for the California Teamsters Public Affairs Council.  From 1982 through 1985 he was staff counsel to the Public Employment Relations Board.  He received his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of California, Davis School of Law and received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Davis.

Mr. Broad is a member of the Labor and Employment Section of the California State Bar, the American Civil Liberties Union, and the Parent-Teacher Association.  He also serves on the board of directors of Odessey 20/20, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving public transit services in California.
